Last Month My Sister Stacey and I threw a
Baby Shower for our Cousin
who was expecting a Baby Boy.
We also had help from many of our Family and Friends including the Mommy-to-Be's Twin Sister, Mother, our Aunts and My other Sister, Lacey.
I'm blogging this so I can show you all the fun ways we incorporated
VINYL LETTERING
into our Party! :-)
This was our Entry Table where the Gifts were kept
and guests picked up their "Game Sheets"
We did not play the usual Baby Shower Games.
Instead we had a list of different "Stations" they could do and if they completed the station they got raffle tickets to put in to a drawing at the end of the night for some fun prizes!
One of the Stations was our Photo Booth!
My Aunt took the photo's for us and we had all sorts of fun props.
The wind was blowing so hard, our back drop kept flying away along with everything else at our party!
PHOTO BOOTH FUN!
ME AND MY SISTERS!
Another one of the Stations that we got in big trouble for was our
"STICK THE STACHE" GAME!
Similar to "Pin the Tail on the Donkey"
But we used a Photo of our Cousin (The "Baby's Daddy")
and used MUSTACHES to pin on him as we blind folded our guests!
We are in trouble because ONE of us 3 Sisters came up with the idea,
ONE of us went and got the picture photo shopped and blown up, and ONE of us suggested sticking it on FACEBOOK and tagging him!!! :)
NONE of us will fess up to any of it, but I'm sure he will get all THREE of us back....
one day! lol.
Another Station was to write advice down on a diaper
for the Mommy!
"Diaper Duty!"
One of our cute Banners.
We used Iron On Vinyl for the onsies!
Table Décor
We had a Cupcake Buffet and Root Beer Float Bar.
It was so windy and such horrible flies every where we ended up taking everything inside and did not get a lot of pictures of our food and dessert tables.
But of course we used the stripey straws and mason jars with vinyl mustaches on them for the Root Beer Floats!
We also bought solid colored plates and cups and added Vinyl Mustaches to them.
(Sorry no photo)
The Center pieces
we had on all the tables
Another banner we made with paper and vinyl.
This table held the Party favors which were mustache cut out sugar cookies
my Aunt made for us!
My Mom and sweet Nephew! ;)
These were a couple of the prizes our guests won at our Raffle for completing the Stations.
Names were drawn from a hat and depending on how many stations you completed depended on how many chances you got to win a prize! :)
Despite the horrible wind and the massive amount of flies,
our party was still a success and everyone had a good time!
